OPERATION CARE FAIR

Saturday 18 February, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., McChord Field Community Center. This event provides a day of free pampering and fun, wellness-related information and activities for Service Members and Family members. Vendors are charged only a refundable deposit in exchange for a sample or service to each attendee. We also welcome proposals for on-stage demonstrations or presentations. Anticipated attendance: 700

EARTH DAY

Exhibits in prominent on-post locations; Tuesday 17 April at the McChord Field Commissary and Wednesday 18 April at the Lewis Main Post Exchange, both days from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We welcome exhibits and vendors for earth-friendly products (cleaning, gardening, recycling, food, alternative energy, etc.). There is no charge for booth space beyond the requirement to provide a sample, consultation or service for event attendees or a presentation at an on-post school. Anticipated attendance: 600

ARMED FORCES DAY

Saturday 19 May, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Cowan and Memorial Stadiums in Joint Base. Lewis McChord's town center. This event is Joint Base Lewis-McChord's open house, featuring modern and historic military displays, demonstrations, carnival rides, on-stage entertainment and more. We welcome craft, resale and food vendors. You will be charged based on what you are selling and how much space you need (please see application paperwork). Anticipated attendance: 20,000

FREEDOM FEST

Wednesday 4 July, 12 noon to at least 8 p.m. (fireworks at full dark). Cowan and Memorial Stadiums in Joint Base Lewis McChord's town center. This event features the Classy Chassis car show (form), entertainment, carnival rides and an unbeatable fireworks show at full dark. We welcome craft, resale and food vendors. You will be charged based on what you are selling and how much space you need (please see application paperwork). Anticipated attendance: 30,000
