Ms. Cartner has been responsible for a significant increase in the number of programs and services available to children and parents. During this quarter she has arranged and or conducted more that 30 in-house activities and more than 25 schools/CDC visits. Her outreach efforts in the community have resulted in units and FRGs name requesting her to provide children’s programs and special briefings for parents, homeschoolers and child care givers. Responding to quality of life issues and community needs Ms Cartner has demonstrated to the community that Book Patch Library is a viable and indispensable resource for Families and children of all ages. Ms Cartner‘s enthusiasm and vibrant personality have been cited by parents as reasons why they continue to attend Family Story Time. She builds positive relationships within the community. She encourages children to embrace reading for enjoyment. She promotes/supports literacy and she endeavors to ensure access to quality services and programs. She has cultivated and established relationships and connections at all levels across the Post and within the local communities. As a result we have new and expanded partnerships and heightened interest in Children and Youth Services.
