Child Development Services

Affordable quality child care is provided for children from six weeks through 12 years. Activities are geared toward school readiness and the social, emotional, mental and physical development of your children. To meet the needs of the JBLM community, child care is offered in both on-base centers and homes.


Child Development Centers JBLM child development centers are state-of-the-art facilities accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The centers provide full-day child care, part-day preschool, Strong Beginnings and hourly child care for youth.		Licensed Family Child Care General Information FCC Amnesty Program

Hourly Care FCC Hourly Care for 4 weeks - 12 yrs. Must be enrolled with an FCC Provider. You may get a list of FCC Providers at Parent Central. Clarkmoor Hourly Care Center for 6-weeks old -5 years old. Make reservations on WEBTRAC or call 253-966-2977 McChord CDC WEST for 6-week old - 5 years old children. Make reservation on WEBTRAC or call 253-966-2977		Child Care at the Fitness Center While you participate in fitness activities, on-site child care is provided by CYS Services on a space-available basis. For 6 weeks to 5 years old. Food service will not be provided. For more information on what parents need to provide while their children are in child care, call 253-967-1254.

Kids On Site (KOS) While you’re at base functions such as Newcomers’ Orientation and Army Family Team Building classes, rest assured that your children are receiving quality onsite care from CYS Services.
