EFMP is offering a helping hand. The Air Force cares about Airmen who have Family members with special needs. The program was set up to help Airmen on active duty to enroll in the program when they have a family member with a physical, emotional, developmental, or intellectual disability requiring specialized services so their needs can be considered in the military assignment process.
|
|
Assignment for AirmanWhen possible, Airmen are assigned to an area where the medical and special education needs of the Family member can be met, giving the Airmen the opportunity to have missions important to the Air Force that meld with their special needs. The EFMP also maintains a resource library containing diagnosis-related information, a community resource directory, research and advocacy organizations at global, national, state & local levels. |
