Employment is one of the most significant issues for military Families, particularly as they are impacted by the Army's mobile lifestyle.
The Employment Readiness Program (ERP)
assists Families to meet the challenges associated with career planning and job search and provides resources through a cohesive, standardized employment support program.
The ERP provides a full range of information and referral services and assistance in the areas of employment, education and training. Services are designed to give eligible personnel and their Family members the competitive edge necessary to secure employment and include:
- Resume and Professional Portfolio Development
- Job Application Assistance
- Centralized Job Bank
- Executive Level Portfolio and Application Guidance
- Career Skills Assessment and Counseling
- Interview Skills Development
- Resume, Job Search, Career Dress/Grooming and Interview Classes
- Career Transition and Career Dress Advisory
Computers and programs are available for client use in preparing a resume, cover letter and other job search documents. Employer fact sheets, agency business cards, information regarding work skills classes and recruitment flyers are provided for your use.
